So that you can get more familiar with who I am, let me tell you a little bit about myself that isn't music-related:
I have lived in the metro-Atlanta area all of my life. Most of my time was spent in Stockbridge, GA until I went to college, which was in Macon, GA. I married my husband, Nathan, in May 2006 after meeting Freshman year at Mercer University, and we now live in Bethlehem, GA, which is between Winder and Loganville. We recently had a baby boy, Tucker Owen Young, on June 18, 2008!!
I have a Bachelor's Degree in English and I am certified to teach English in grades 4-12, as well as Math to grades 4-8. I taught for 2 years at Luella Middle School in Locust Grove, GA.
Nathan and I have two cats, Polar and Smoltzy. We are huge Braves fans, if you couldn't tell by our cat's name!
I am very interested in sports of all kinds. I have played softball for almost 20 years, and I was selected as a Georgia High School All-State Player in 2001. I played softball at Mercer while I attended college, and was selected as an Academic All-American. I also lettered in soccer and basketball in high school. I also umpire football, softball, baseball, and basketball over the years.
